Terms

Honest Jump · last updated 18 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Honest Jump or pay for one of its plans. By signing in or using Honest Jump you agree to them.

Who runs Honest Jump

Honest Jump is run by 어니스트무브 (Honest Move), a sole proprietorship owned by 김훈 (Hoon Kim) and registered in the Republic of Korea.

What Honest Jump is

Honest Jump is web-based software for measuring, recording and analysing countermovement jumps for training and research. You hold your phone against your chest and do a countermovement jump. The app reads the phone's motion sensors and reports jump height, mRSI, peak force and take-off velocity, plus force, velocity and power curves. You need a Google account to sign in.

Plans and payment

The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are not on sale yet.

Once they go on sale, paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars, at the prices on the pricing page. They renew automatically until you cancel. The same page lists what each plan includes.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paddle calculates tax at checkout. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Cancelling

You can cancel a paid plan at any time, from the link in your Paddle receipt or at paddle.net. The plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.

After that your account is on Free. All your athletes and measurements are kept. If you have more athletes than Free allows, you can still open them but cannot add new ones, and analyses are limited to 3 a day.

Refunds

Every payment can be refunded in full within 30 days of the charge. The refund policy explains how to ask.

What the numbers are for

Honest Jump is a measurement tool for training and research. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it does not give medical advice. Measurements from a phone can differ from those of a laboratory force plate. Do not jump if you are injured or unsure it is safe for you.

Your account and your data

Keep your account to yourself, and only register athletes whose data you are allowed to record. You can delete athletes, single measurements and your account at any time. The privacy policy lists what is stored and how it is protected.

Fair use

Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, get around plan limits, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend the account of anyone who does.

The service

Honest Jump is in beta. Features may change, measurements may be lost while the app changes, and the service may at times be unavailable or wrong. It is provided as is.

Where the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for Honest Jump in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change affects a paid plan, we email you before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the change.

Law

Korean law governs these terms. This does not take away any protection your local consumer law gives you.
